I’m an Instructional Coach for Curriculum and Instruction Support Services at the Peel District School Board. I work alongside teachers and administration to implement board and Ministry initiatives. I enjoy facilitating teacher professional development and co-learning with teachers throughout their Collaborative Inquiry cycles. I’m passionate about Differentiated Instruction and Assessment for Learning as they are essential to maximizing student achievement in the 21st Century. I believe that The Power of Co (co-planning, co-teaching, co-debriefing) using data to inform instruction, co-constructing criteria, providing students with ongoing descriptive feedback, and asking the critical and tough question, “What is the difference that made a difference?” ultimately improves student achievement. Welcome to my journey!
